Are my cochlear implants covered?
Yes, provided you take reasonable measures to protect your cochlear implants from damage and loss.
Cochlear implants are covered for $750 as unspecified items. You can increase the cover for your cochlear implant up to a maximum of $5000.
Note:
- Basics policies do not provide cover for luggage, unless you have paid an additional premium to add luggage and personal effects cover to your policy.
- If you have the Basics policy, It is not possible to increase the cover for your cochlear implants.
