Am I covered if I miss my flight because my car or taxi gets a flat tyre on the way to the airport?

If you have the Comprehensive, Domestic, Frequent Traveller Saver or Snow Sports Plus policies:

If you are delayed for more than 6 hours, you have provision to claim for Travel Delay Expenses for the additional meals and accommodation expenses you incur.

You would have provision to claim for Special Event Transport Expenses to reach your pre-booked, pre-paid and pre-arranged wedding, funeral, conference, sporting event, cruise or tour package.

Note:

There is no cover for cancellation of your flight if there is a breakdown of any means of transport.
If you are starting your trip and able to return to your home before your rescheduled flight, there would be no provision to claim for Travel Delay Expenses.
