Is the ear infection that I had on my last trip considered a pre-existing medical condition for my next trip?

If you have fully recovered from your acute ear infection and do not have any ongoing problems (like requiring further medication, visits to the doctor or complications), then it would not be considered a pre-existing medical condition for your new trip.

However, if your ear infection is chronic and ongoing (that is, you require further medication, visits to the doctor or experience further complications), then it would be considered a pre-existing medical condition for which you would not be covered for on your new trip.
The Claims team will assess all claims on a case by case basis, and the outcome of your claim will depend on your particular circumstances.
