Are fishing rods and reels considered single items or a related set of items?

A rod and reel is considered a set and would be covered up to a maximum of $750.

Note:

  • The Rod and reel are not considered separate items unless you specify additional cover up to a maximum of $5000 for each separate item, and pay the additional premium. No depreciation applies to specified items.
  • If you have purchased this option on the Basics Policy, cover is limited $2,000.

Cover is subject to the policy terms, conditions, limits and exclusions in the Product Disclosure Statement (PDS).
