Why is there a $2000 Medical Excess for travellers 80-89 years old?

The Medical Excess is based on the age of the travellers and ONLY applies to injury or sickness claims. 

A $200 excess applies to claims which are not related to an injury or sickness for 80 - 89 year old travellers. 

Note:

• We do not require a medical form when you buy a policy. 
• Unfortunately we are unable to reduce or remove the medical excess for 80 - 89 year old travellers.
