Does travel insurance cover mobile phones?

Yes, phones are covered up to a maximum of $1000 and subject to depreciation.

Note:

If you take out a Comprehensive, Frequent Traveller Saver or Snow Sports Plus policy, you can specify additional cover up to a maximum of $5000 for your mobile phone for an additional fee.
Specified items are not subject to depreciation.

Cover is subject to the policy terms, conditions, limits and exclusions in the Product Disclosure Statement (PDS).
