How much are my hearing aids covered for?

Hearing aids are covered up to $750 and are subject to depreciation.

Note:

  • A pair of hearing aids are considered 1 item, so if you lose just one hearing aid, the appropriate single item limit will be applied.

For example, if the hearing aids are worth $500 and you lost one of them, you would be able to claim up to a maximum of $250 for that lost hearing aid.

  • If you take out a Comprehensive, Snow Sports Plus or Frequent Traveller Saver policy, you can specify additional cover up to a maximum of $5000 for your hearing aids for an additional fee. No depreciation is applied to specified items.

Cover is subject to the policy terms, conditions, limits and exclusions in the PDS.
