Can I buy Snow cover just for the time that I am skiing?

Snow Sports cover isn’t usually available just for part of your trip, as the Snow Sports Plus policy normally applies to your whole journey.

However, you may be able to purchase a separate Snow Sports Plus Already Overseas policy just for the days you’ll be participating in snow sports listed in our PDS. In this case, the snow sports and snow-related benefits will only apply for the dates shown on your Certificate of Insurance under your Snow Sports Plus Already Overseas policy.

It’s important to know that an Already Overseas policy can only be purchased once you’re already travelling and has some key differences compared to policies starting in Australia: it comes with a $500 excess, a 48-hour waiting period before cover begins, an age limit of 65 years, and it can only be issued for a maximum of 21 days.
