What is a sub-limit under Fast Cover Travel Insurance policy?

A Sub-Limit is the maximum dollar amount we will pay to cover a specific item, event or loss which we have described under a broader section benefit limit.

Example:

If you have the comprehensive policy, your luggage and personal effects are covered up to a maximum of $15,000. However, if your camera is stolen, the sub-limit for a camera is $3,000, meaning that is the most you can claim for the camera, even if the total luggage benefit is $15,000.

We clarify that the value of the camera will also be subject to applicable Depreciation, and the applicable Excess will be deducted after any relevant Deprecation and limits/sub limits have been applied.

Eligibility criteria, policy terms, conditions, exclusions, limits and sub-limits apply. Consider the PDS prior to deciding on which policy is right for you and your needs.

Any advice is general advice only and does not take into account your individual objectives, financial situation, or needs. Please consider the PDS before making any decisions regarding the purchase of travel insurance.
