Can I claim cancellation costs if my booked transport is delayed or rescheduled?

You may be covered for cancellation costs if your booked transport is delayed or rescheduled due to a reason that is specifically covered under your policy. 

If you hold a Comprehensive, Snow Sports Plus, Domestic Plus, or Frequent Traveller Saver policy, you may also be able to claim under: 

  • Travel Delay Expenses (for reasonable accommodation and meal costs if the delay meets the time requirements), or 
  • Special Event Transport Expenses (for additional transport costs to reach a special event on time). 

Every claim is reviewed individually on a case-by-case basis and will only be paid if it meets the terms, conditions, limits, and exclusions in your policy. Always check the PDS carefully so you know exactly what’s included before you travel.
