How can I make a travel insurance claim if my group policy has the organiser’s contact details instead of mine?
If your travel insurance was purchased as part of a group booking, the contact details on your policy (such as the email address and phone number) may belong to other people instead of you. That doesn’t stop you from making a claim, you still have two ways to do it:
- Online claim: To lodge a claim online, you’ll need a verification code which is sent to the email address listed on your Certificate of Insurance. You can either:
• Call 1300 409 322 to update the email address to your own, or
• Ask the main policy holder to share the verification code with you.
(A new verification code is required each time you log in to the claims system.) - Paper or email claim: If online claiming isn’t convenient, you can download a claim form and send it to us by email, post, or fax.
