Is sailing the same as a cruise?

We do not consider sailing the same as a cruise.

You are considered to be sailing if you will not be travelling more than 10 nm from any land mass, or if you have the Adventure Pack, 15 nm from any land mass.

You are considered to be on a cruise if you are on a commercially operated boat which will travel on the sea or ocean, has on board accommodation and trained medical staff.
