What are sub-limits?
A sub-limit is a part of an original larger limit, and not in addition to: sub-limits do not provide extra cover, they are a maximum amount within that original larger amount that be reimbursed for a particular claim.
For example: The Luggage and Personal Effects benefit limit for the Comprehensive policy is $10 000, with a sub-limit of $1500 for your mobile phone. If your phone was accidentally lost or stolen, the most you could claim for the phone is $1500, and not $10 000.
Cover is subject to the policy terms, conditions, limits and exclusions in the Product Disclosure Statement (PDS).
