Will my grandchildren be covered under this policy?
Grandkids can be covered under a Family or Single policy if they are your own grandchildren (including grandchildren for whom you are the legal guardian) provided they are aged 20 and younger and not in full time employment. Your grandchildren must travel with you or the other adult listed on the certificate of insurance for 100% of the adult traveller’s itinerary.
Other children travelling with you and without their parents or grandparents cannot be covered under your family policy, they will need to take out their own policy, or have their parent or guardian take out a policy to cover them.^
As each individual’s circumstances are different, we will assess each claim on a case by case basis and in accordance with your specific circumstances, policy terms and Certificate of Insurance.
