Am I covered if I have to delay or cancel my trip as I am waiting for COVID-19 test results?

No. There is no cover for trip delay, trip disruption or trip cancellation due to you having to wait for COVID-19 test results.

However, there may be some cover if you are diagnosed by a medical practitioner as COVID-19 positive following a Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) test. This cover is not available on the Basics policy.

There is only cover for COVID-19 related claims if you purchased your policy after the 10th February 2022, unless you purchased the optional COVID-19 Pack and it appears on your Certificate of Insurance. Cover is subject to the policy terms, conditions, limits and exclusions in the Product Disclosure Statement (PDS).
