What happens if the damage to my rental car is less than the rental car excess?

If the damage to your rental vehicle is less than the rental vehicle excess you are liable for, we may cover the cost of the repairs to the rental vehicle instead of the rental vehicle insurance excess. 

You should submit a claim with us and include the following documents: 

• your rental agreement; 
• the authorised driver’s driving licence; 
• the original inspection report and/or the incident/damage report; 
• the repair invoice and/or quote; 
• a written statement from the licensed rental company confirming you are liable to pay the excess.  
• Make a Claim now.
