Does my Trip cancellation and disruption cover for COVID-19 include my meal costs?
If you have to quarantine or isolate because you have tested positive to COVID-19, there is no cover for additional food expenses up to the original end date of the policy.
However, you can claim for the reasonable additional food costs incurred beyond your original return date (up until you are able to return home). This means that you can claim for additional accommodation, travel and food expenses up to the limit as specified on your policy (Trip cancellation and disruption costs up to $5000 for the Comprehensive policy and $3000 for the Standard Saver policy).
