Why don't you offer cover for the country I am travelling to?
Fast Cover provides travel insurance for many destinations worldwide, but we are unable to offer cover for every country. You can check whether your destination is covered by entering the country name when getting a quote on our website.
There are several reasons why we may not be able to provide cover for a specific country:
- A “Do not travel” issued by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) and published on Smartraveller.
- General Exclusion 43, which applies to all benefits in the Product Disclosure Statement (PDS), states that, to the extent permissible by law, we will not pay under any circumstances if you travel to Cuba, Iran, or North Korea.
- A specific decision not to cover travel to certain destinations due to current extraordinary circumstances and/or underwriting eligibility criteria.
The circumstances in each country are continually monitored and updated, and coverage availability may change based on travel advisories and risk assessments.
Underwriting eligibility criteria, policy terms, conditions, limits, sub-limits, and exclusions in the Product Disclosure Statement (PDS) apply.
Every claim is reviewed individually on a case-by-case basis and will only be paid if it meets the terms, conditions, limits, and exclusions in your policy. Always check the PDS carefully so you know exactly what’s included before you travel.
