I'm travelling for work, but if wet weather means I can't work, am I covered for my trip cancellation costs?

Travel insurance provides you with cover for the expenses that you have made, to enable you to go on your trip. For example: flights and accommodation costs.

If unexpected severe weather results in your booked transport being cancelled, which means that you aren't able to leave for your trip, you would have cover for your cancellation costs.
However, there is no cover for your cancellation costs if your booked transport is not affected by the weather, and you are still able to travel to your destination, even if you are not able to work.

Cover is subject to the policy terms, conditions, limits and exclusions in the Product Disclosure Statement (PDS).
