Does travel insurance cover passport replacement if it’s accidentally damaged?

If your passport is lost, stolen, or accidentally damaged during your trip, you may be able to claim the reasonable replacement costs, including associated communication costs, under the Passports, Credit Cards, and Credit Card Fraud benefit. 

Please note that this benefit is only available under the Comprehensive, Standard Saver, Snow Sports Plus and Frequent Traveller Saver Policy. 

Every claim is reviewed individually on a case-by-case basis and will only be paid if it meets the terms, conditions, limits, and exclusions in your policy. Always check the PDS carefully so you know exactly what’s included before you travel.
