I have a heart condition but have full medical cover through my work. Can I still buy a policy for the cancellation cover and other benefits?
All of our international policies currently provide unlimited overseas emergency medical and hospital expenses and it is not possible to purchasecancellation cover separately.
The
Insurance Council of Australia may be able to suggest other companies who may be able to provide you with cover.
If you decide to purchase travel insurance with overseas emergency medical and hospital expenses, you can complete a medical screening for your heart condition and any other medical conditions that you may have.
