My 17 yo is not in full time employment, but may be by the time we travel. Can I list him as a dependant if I buy a policy now?

A dependant is defined as a child or grandchild aged 20 years and under who is not in full-time employment and is travelling 100% of the time with at least one of the adults named on the Certificate of Insurance for the full trip. 

If your 17-year-old is not in full-time employment at the time of purchasing the policy, they can be listed as a dependant. However, if they begin full-time employment before travelling, we may still consider them a dependant provided at the time of purchasing the policy it was not known and not likely for them to be in full time employment.
