Do I need a police report or letter from the carrier if my luggage is delayed?

You will need to provide written proof of the delay, misdirection or misplacement from your transport provider who was responsible for your luggage and personal effects including the length of the delay and details of compensation provided to you.  

As each individual’s circumstances are different, we will assess each claim on a case by case basis and in accordance with your specific circumstances, policy terms and Certificate of Insurance.
