Do I need cruise travel insurance for a cruise in Ireland’s rivers?

You will not need to include Cruise cover if you are taking an inland river cruise or a day cruise in Ireland and will not be sleeping on the boat. For example, if you will be cruising on the Shannon River to sightsee for a few hours, you won’t need to choose Cruise cover for this type of cruise as river cruises are automatically covered under your Ireland travel insurance policy.
