Do I need cruise travel insurance for a cruise in Italy’s rivers or canals?

You will not need to include Cruise cover if you are taking an inland river cruise or a day cruise in Italy’s Venice canals and will not be sleeping on the boat. Italy river cruises are automatically covered under your Italy travel insurance policy so you won’t need to choose Cruise cover for this type of cruise.
