Do I need cruise travel insurance for a cruise in Germany’s rivers?

You will not need to include cruise cover if you are taking an inland river cruise or a day cruise in Germany and will not be sleeping on the boat. For example, if you are cruising along the Rhine or Elbe Rivers to sightsee, you will not need cruise cover. Germany river cruises are automatically covered under your Germany travel insurance policy so you won’t need to choose Cruise cover, for this type of cruise.
