I’m only in transit in Chile. Do I still need travel insurance for Chile?

If you are only in transit through Chile, you automatically have cover for up to 48 hours. Cover is only available for the countries or region you have selected at the time of purchase and listed on your Certificate of insurance. If you change your travel plans and decide to legally enter Chile, you may not be covered under your policy if Chile was not selected at the time of purchase and listed on your Certificate of insurance. You can apply to Fast Cover to add Chile to your policy to include cover and pay an additional premium.
