Do I need cruise travel insurance for a cruise between New Caledonia’s Islands?

If you’re participating in a short-day cruise while island-hopping between New Caledonia’s islands, you won’t need to take out Cruise cover because short-day trip cruises in bays and between islands are automatically covered under your New Caledonia travel insurance policy. For example, if you are going on an excursion or short-day trip from Grande Terre to the Isle of Pines, you won’t need to choose Cruise cover for this type of cruise.

However, if you will be travelling on a cruise ship for 1 night or more in New Caledonia’s waters, you must add Cruise cover to your Fiji travel insurance policy to be covered for your Cruise.

Eligibility criteria, policy terms, conditions, exclusions and limits apply. Consider the PDS prior to deciding on which policy is right for you and your needs
