Do I need cruise travel insurance for a cruise in New Zealand’s rivers?

You will not need to include Cruise cover if you are taking an inland river cruise or a day cruise in New Zealand’s rivers and will not be sleeping on the boat. New Zealand river cruises are automatically covered under your New Zealand travel insurance policy, so you won’t need to choose Cruise cover for this type of cruise.
