What is Bicycle Pack cover in travel insurance?

The Bicycle Pack is usually an optional add-on that provides cover if your bicycle is permanently lost, stolen, or accidentally damaged during your trip. 

In Fast Cover there is an option to  purchase the Bicycle Pack under the Comprehensive, Standard Saver, Snow Sports Plus, Domestic Plus, or Frequent Traveller Saver policies. It does not provide cover while the bicycle is in use. 

To be eligible, your bicycle must: 

• Be less than 3 years old  
• Have a value of at least $1,500 
• Be free of defects at the time cover starts 

All above conditions should be true at the time Certificate of Insurance is issued. 

The maximum benefit payable is $5,000 per bicycle, up to a total of $15,000 for all bicycles listed on the policy combined. 

Every claim is reviewed individually on a case-by-case basis and will only be paid if it meets the terms, conditions, limits, and exclusions in your policy. Always check the PDS carefully so you know exactly what’s included before you travel.
