Can I add bicycle cover to my travel insurance policy?

You can add the Bicycle Pack to certain travel insurance policies, including Comprehensive, Standard Saver, Snow Sports Plus, Domestic Plus, and Frequent Traveller Saver. This optional add-on provides cover if your bicycle is permanently lost, stolen, or accidentally damaged during your trip. 

To be eligible, your bicycle must be less than 3 years old, valued at a minimum of $1,500, and free of defects when cover begins. The maximum we will pay is $5,000 per bicycle, up to a total of $15,000 for all bicycles listed on the policy combined.Cover does not apply while a bicycle is being used. 

Every claim is reviewed individually on a case-by-case basis and will only be paid if it meets the terms, conditions, limits, and exclusions in your policy. Always check the PDS carefully so you know exactly what’s included before you travel.
