Am I covered if I am on a cruise and go swimming with dolphins?

Swimming with dolphins is included as a listed activity under the Adventure Pack, as it falls under the category of animal conservation and handling. This means you’ll need to purchase the Adventure Pack add-on with your Fast Cover travel insurance policy for the activity to be considered under your cover.

The activity must also be undertaken under appropriate supervision.

Whether a claim for swimming with dolphins is payable will depend on your policy type, the specific circumstances, the type of expenses you’re claiming, and the policy terms, conditions, exclusions, limits and sub-limits.

Every claim is reviewed individually on a case-by-case basis and will only be paid if it meets the terms, conditions, limits, and exclusions in your policy. Always check the PDS carefully so you know exactly what’s included before you travel.
