Fast Cover Travel Insurance automatically provides cover for hiking, trekking, and tramping up to an altitude of 3,000 meters, provided you do not use any specialised climbing equipment. If you plan to hike at higher altitudes, you can extend your coverage up to 6,000 meters by purchasing the Adventure Pack add-on. However, the Adventure Pack does not provide cover for any activities that involve the use of specialised climbing equipment, even if you have added this option to your policy. It is important to carefully review the Product Disclosure Statement (PDS) to understand the specific terms, conditions, exclusions, limits, and sub-limits that apply to hiking, trekking, and climbing activities under your policy.
Eligibility criteria, policy terms, conditions, exclusions, limits and sub limits apply. Consider the PDS prior to deciding on which policy is right for you and your needs.
Any advice is general advice only and does not take into account your individual objectives, financial situation, or needs. Please consider the PDS before making any decisions regarding the purchase of travel insurance.
