Are there countries that Fast Cover travel insurance does not cover?
Fast Cover offers travel insurance for a wide range of international destinations. However, cover is not available for travel to all countries, and your eligibility for cover will depend on the destination, the policy wording and the specific circumstances at the time of policy issue and/or travel.
You can check if your intended destination is eligible by using the quote tool at www.fastcover.com.au or by contacting us.
Cover may be unavailable for travel to certain countries due to one or more of the following:
- The country is subject to an Overall Advice Level of 'Do not travel' issued by the Australian Government's Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) and published on smartraveller.gov.au;
- A General Exclusion applies to all benefits under the policy where, to the extent permitted by law, we do not provide cover under any circumstances for travel to Cuba, Iran, or North Korea;
- A specific underwriting decision has been made to exclude cover for a particular country due to extraordinary circumstances, security concerns, or policy eligibility criteria.
The eligibility of destinations is continuously monitored and updated based on changes in government travel advisories and global risk conditions.
Every claim is reviewed individually on a case-by-case basis and will only be paid if it meets the terms, conditions, limits, and exclusions in your policy. Always check the PDS carefully so you know exactly what’s included before you travel.
