What should I do if I am also covered by another insurance company?
If you have another insurance policy that may also cover the same loss, damage, or liability, you’ll need to let us know and provide the details of that insurer and policy. We may seek contribution from your other insurer. You must give us any information we reasonably ask for to help us make a claim from your other insurer.
If the other insurer pays your claim in full, you can’t claim the same amount under your Fast Cover policy. But if they only cover part of your loss, you may be able to claim the difference from us, up to your policy’s benefit limit. In these cases, we may work with the other insurer to share the costs.
You’ll need to cooperate by providing any information we reasonably request to help us manage your claim.
Every claim is reviewed individually on a case-by-case basis and will only be paid if it meets the terms, conditions, limits, and exclusions in your policy. Always check the PDS carefully so you know exactly what’s included before you travel.
