Can I delay the start of my travel insurance policy if I delay my trip?

If your travel plans change and you haven’t made (or intend to make) a claim, you may be able to change your policy’s start date. The new start date must be within 12 months of the original purchase date.

Postponing your policy may affect the premium if your new travel dates change factors like age, destination, or pricing brackets. All changes are subject to eligibility and must be requested before your original policy start date.

Every claim is reviewed individually on a case-by-case basis and will only be paid if it meets the terms, conditions, limits, and exclusions in your policy. Always check the PDS carefully so you know exactly what’s included before you travel.
