What is the maximum trip duration?

The maximum trip duration depends on the type of policy you choose if and when you decide to buy Fast Cover travel insurance.

  • Single trip policy:

With a Single Trip policy (Comprehensive, Standard Saver, Snow Sports Plus, or Basics), you can be covered for trips of up to 24 months.

  • Domestic Plus policy:

A Domestic Plus policy covers trips of up to 92 days (around three months), while a Domestic Cruise policy may cover you for up to 12 months.

  • Frequent Traveller Saver policy:

If you’re travelling on a Frequent Traveller Saver policy, the maximum journey length per trip is shown on your Certificate of Insurance. Depending on your plan, this may be 15, 25, 40, or 63 days per trip across your year of cover.

Every claim is reviewed individually on a case-by-case basis and will only be paid if it meets the terms, conditions, limits, and exclusions in your policy. Always check the PDS carefully so you know exactly what’s included before you travel.
