What is a Product Disclosure Statement (PDS) in travel insurance?

A Product Disclosure Statement (PDS) is a document required under the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth). It provides detailed information to help you decide whether a travel insurance policy is right for you and to compare it with other products you might be considering.

The PDS explains the types of cover available along with the terms, conditions, limits, and exclusions that apply. It is important to remember that any recommendations or opinions in the PDS are of a general nature only and do not take into account your personal objectives, financial situation, or needs.

Together with your Certificate of Insurance and any other documents we advise form part of your policy, the PDS makes up your travel insurance contract.
