What does “unspecified items” mean?

Unspecified items are your everyday belongings that you take on your trip without listing them individually on your policy. Things like clothing, toiletries, shoes, books, phones, cameras and most general personal items all fall into this category. These items are automatically covered up to the standard sub limits that apply to your policy.

If you have something valuable that needs higher cover than the standard limits allow, you can list it separately as a Specified high value item for an additional premium.

Every claim is reviewed individually on a case-by-case basis and will only be paid if it meets the terms, conditions, limits, and exclusions in your policy. Always check the PDS carefully so you know exactly what’s included before you travel.
