If my iPhone was a gift, is it still covered if it is lost or stolen?
Yes, the iPhone would still be covered under Benefit 14: Luggage and Personal Effects up to a maximum of $1 500, if you have this cover under your policy.
If the item is lost, stolen or damaged, you would still need to prove ownership of the item. You can do this by providing the receipt, or by taking a photo of the item.
Cover is subject to the policy terms, conditions, limits and exclusions in the Product Disclosure Statement (PDS).
