What is 'Trip Disruption Expenses'?

The Trip Disruption Expenses benefit can cover your reasonable additional travel and accommodation expenses that you incur whilst you are still on your trip if it is unexpectedly interrupted due to circumstances covered under your policy.  

Important to know: 

• This benefit is only available on Comprehensive, Snow Sports Plus, Frequent  Traveller Saver, Standard Saver, and Domestic Plus policy.  
• If you claim under both Trip Disruption Expenses and Trip Cancellation Expenses for the same or similar costs, only the higher of the two amounts will be paid, but not both. 

Every claim is reviewed individually on a case-by-case basis and will only be paid if it meets the terms, conditions, limits, and exclusions in your policy. Always check the PDS carefully so you know exactly what’s included before you travel.
