What is the Comprehensive policy and what does it cover?

The Comprehensive policy is considered as Fast Cover’s most popular level of cover by many and provides highest level of cover for international trips compared to Standard Saver or Basics. It includes higher benefit limits and cover for a wide range of unexpected events as listed on the PDS.

With this policy, you’re covered for things like:

  • Unlimited overseas medical emergencies and hospital expenses (for eligible claims).
  • Trip cancellation and disruption costs if you need to cancel or rearrange travel due to an insured event.
  • Luggage and personal effects if they are lost, stolen, or damaged (with per-item limits and depreciation considerations, unless specified).
  • Travel delays or missed connections to special events.
  • Serious incidents such as accidental death, permanent disability, or loss of income following an accident due to a covered event.
  • Cover for passports, credit cards, and theft of cash as listed on the PDS
  • Personal liability cover if you’re legally responsible for injury to someone else or damage to their property.

The Comprehensive policy can also be tailored with optional extras like Rental Vehicle Excess, Motorcycle Pack, Bicycle Pack, or Adventure Pack, depending on the type of trip you’re taking.

Every claim is reviewed individually on a case-by-case basis and will only be paid if it meets the terms, conditions, limits, and exclusions in your policy. Always check the PDS carefully so you know exactly what’s included before you travel.
