Can I cancel my policy if I haven't used it and haven't travelled?
We are flexible when it comes to cancelling your Fast Cover travel insurance policy provided you meet the cancellation terms and conditions of your policy. The following are some of the key points you need to know about cancelling your travel insurance policy:
You have a 25-day cooling-off period from the purchase date of your policy (as shown in your Certificate of Insurance). During this period, you can cancel your policy and receive a full refund, provided:
- You have not started your trip,
- You have not made a claim, or
- exercised any rights under the policy.
You may cancel the policy simply by contacting us and we will give you a full refund.
Cancellation and Refunds
If you decide to cancel your policy outside of the 25-day cooling-off period, you may be eligible for a partial refund. How much you are refunded if you cancel your policy depends on when you cancel and what type of policy you have, as described below.
