Can two people on a Duo policy take separate trips if the original trip ends early?

A Duo policy provides cover for two travellers on the same trip. Both travellers must be listed on the policy and travel together for at least 75% of the journey. If the original trip ends early, the policy cannot be split for separate trips. Each person will need to purchase their own policy if they plan to travel independently afterwards.
