If I have booked a scuba dive, and get sick before the dive, am I covered for the cost to cancel?

You can submit a claim for the any prepaid deposits you have made for the scuba dive, if you become unexpectedly sick or injured and your doctor has advised against you taking the dive; which would generally be assessed under the Trip Cancellation Expenses benefit. As each individual’s circumstances are different, we will assess each claim on a case-by-case basis and in accordance with your specific circumstances, policy terms and conditions, and Certificate of Insurance.  

Note: If you have the Basics policy, there is no cover for trip cancellation expenses if you are unable to go on the scuba dive.
