Can I buy Fast Cover travel insurance after I’ve already left home for a trip around Australia?

If you are travelling within Australia and have already left home, you are not able to purchase a policy with us, as your trip has already started. 

Cover must be arranged before you depart on your journey. Once your domestic trip has begun, you are no longer eligible to take out a new policy for that trip.  

Fast Cover’s Already Overseas policy is only available for travellers who are already overseas on an international trip. It does not apply to trips within Australia.  

Every claim is reviewed individually on a case-by-case basis and will only be paid if it meets the terms, conditions, limits, and exclusions in your policy. Always check the PDS carefully so you know exactly what’s included before you travel.
