Am I covered if I know that my relative may die from his cancer when I travel?

Cover is not available under our policies if, at the time you purchase your policy, you are already aware of your close relative's condition and the likelihood of them passing away while you are on your trip as the policy only provides cover under the relevant policy benefits if the sickness, injury or death is unexpected and if you were not aware of the likelihood of their sickness, injury or death at the time of policy purchase.

Cover is subject to the policy terms, conditions, limits and exclusions in the Product Disclosure Statement (PDS). Every individual’s circumstances are different, therefore, if you make a claim, we will fully assess your claim on a case by case basis.
