I'm fishing more than 2 nautical miles from land, do I need the Adventure pack?

If you will be fishing more than 2 nautical miles off a land mass, this is considered Deep Sea Fishing. To have cover to do deep sea fishing up to 15 nm off a land mass, you must take out the Adventure pack and pay the additional premium. 
Cover is available to fish on land or within 2 nautical miles from a land mass under covered Sports and Leisure Activities without choosing the Adventure Pack option.

Note:

  • You must specify Cruise cover if you are on a cruise ship for 1 or more overnight stays in Australia or 4 or more nights overseas.

  • The Adventure Pack is not available with the Basics policy

    You are NOT covered under the following benefits if you have the Adventure Pack:

    • Benefit 10: Permanent Disability

    • Benefit 11: Loss of Income

    • Benefit 18: Personal Liability

Cover is subject to the policy terms, conditions, limits and exclusions in the Product Disclosure Statement (PDS).
