If I am overseas and I claim for cancellation expenses for a trip which is within my travel dates, does my policy end?
If you are already travelling:
If your trip is unexpectedly disrupted and it is for reasons that you can claim for, you can submit a claim for trip disruption expenses and your policy will not end.
If you have not yet left for your trip:
If you have to
unexpectedly cancel your trip for a reason that you can claim for, and you submit a cancellation claim, your policy will end. Another travel insurance policy will need to be purchased for a new trip.
