What happens to a Family policy if one parent cancels, but the rest of the family still travels?

If one parent listed on a Family policy submits a claim for cancellation costs only, the remaining travellers on the policy still have cover to continue their trip as planned. 

If both parents make a claim for cancellation costs, the Family policy will end. For any future travel, a new policy would need to be purchased. 

Every claim is reviewed individually on a case-by-case basis and will only be paid if it meets the terms, conditions, limits, and exclusions in your policy. Always check the PDS carefully so you know exactly what’s included before you travel.
